Ripper Place!

28 Feb, 2025

What a ripper place to stay! This popular park has the thumbs up from us. Friendly and welcoming staff, reasonable site fees, spacious grass sites and rustic but clean amenities. Showering whilst enjoying the sunlight streaming in over the shower room door was a beautiful way to start the day! Coffee was a winner too (and the passionfruit vanilla slice is not to be missed). Happy to recommend this park to others and have already done so. Thanks for the experience – we hope to return someday.

5 Stars Aren't Enough!

Do yourself a favour. Call in for a delicious chunky beef pie, large coffee, sausage bacon and eggs breaky. Top it off with their vanilla slice 2pack and you’ll be a very happy camper. 5stars aren’t enough.

Thanks from 2 stranded Kiwis.

We will stay again

18 Feb, 2025

On a very hot day we rolled into Mt Surprise. Russell & his playful dog welcomed us and told us to pick any spot. He also asked if we would be wanting dinner and he offered his menu to make sure we were happy and comfortable which was great. The park amenities were clean and we had no problems at all. If heading to the Savannah Way again we will definitely stay again.
