Cheery Nomad RV Park & Farmstay is located just off the Hervey Bay-Maryborough Road and is only 6 kilometers from Maryborough. Cheery Nomad RV Park & Farmstay is a small park but we’re BIG in many ways.
Big on value – at a fraction of the cost of staying in Hervey Bay parks, we supply camp kitchen, fireplace, wood barbeque, games area, swimming pool and so on.
Big on cleanliness – we pride ourselves on modern, spotless amenities and surrounds, including excellent accessible amenities.
Big on friendship and laughter – our communal facilities, including Lucky’s Licenced Bar with free 8 ball, fireplace & barbeque, games room and camp kitchen all draw people together to socialise and have fun.
Big on nature – with plenty of lawns and open spaces, we are a great stop for photographers and birdwatchers, with over 90 species spotted. The horses & cows are always of interest too.
Big on peace and quiet – our rural setting is a real hit with travellers, who always comment on the tranquility and serenity, both day and night.
Our aim is to give a 'best value' choice to all travellers passing through or visiting our area. Make this your first stop north of Brisbane to explore the Fraser Coast.

The Cheery Nomad RV Park & Farmstay (CN) is the hub of the wheel, allowing you to explore the Fraser Coast with ease. A town steeped in history, Maryborough boasts a relaxed atmosphere and is nestled upon the Mary River. With beautifully preserved colonial streets, visitors have the chance to soak up some of Queensland's richest history and heritage architecture. Visit markets, ride the steam train, explore quality museums and art galleries. Learn about our link to Mary Poppins, enjoy lunch at a club or hit a round of golf. Further afield, explore the many southern coastal fishing villages, have a picnic or wet a line.
The seaside town of Hervey Bay is one of Queensland’s best natural holiday destinations, boasting whale watching, access to Fraser Island and a beautiful foreshore. Enjoy the many cafes and restaurants along the vibrant Esplanade, or take a drive to the northern coastal villages of Toogoom & Burrum Heads.
There’s a lot to see and do around here, but remember to return to Cheery Nomad in plenty of time to relax and make friends at Lucky’s Bar.
