Wonderful Place for Bird Watching
A lovely little caravan park with big plans for upgrades in the near future. We were lucky enough to score the best site in the park, a non-powered site under a shady sheoak right by the lake, with 180ºuninterrupted views. The park is spotless, the bathrooms are basic but clean, and the caretaker is very friendly and helpful. A wonderful place, especially if you love bird watching!
Very Impressive!
Extremely impressed with this Holiday Park. Staff were very friendly, we loved the little signs of inspiration around the park. The showers and toilets are well maintained. We can not vouch for the rest of the sites, however site 59 and 60 have the best kept grass I have ever camped on. It felt like laying on a mattress, feel free to tell me your secret to such great grass as I’m jealous. Sites and scenery were absolutely wonderful. Will be returning.
Gorgeous Spacious Spot!
Scenic surroundings on the lake with a heap of native wildlife at your doorstep. Management also is fantastic, Amanda is an absolute gem. Extremely helpful, insightful and delightful. she put us in the best available site which was extremely spacious on lush green grass in a gorgeous spot viewing creek. Very relaxed environment and pet friendly. Amanda said there will be new amenities block coming very soon which will be a bonus to the park. Stunning botanic gardens also very close by which was immaculately kept.
Warm Welcome
What a fabulous place to come and stay for a couple of days. The park has been taken over by new manager Darren, who was welcoming and gracious. He advised us that he had just received council approval to install his new amenities block with a camp kitchen and extra showers and toilets, as the current ensuite shower blocks were to be demolished. This is a park that we would definitely visit again. Do yourself a favour and drop into Colac for a stay.
