Welcome to our hideaway!
PARK TEMPORARILY CLOSED DUE TO FLOODING OF MURRAY RIVER. PARK EXPECTED TO BE CLOSED TILL THE END OF 2023
Kingston-on-Murray Caravan Park is a picturesque and peaceful family-owned park situated on the Murray River, in a secluded setting just 2 km off the Sturt Highway. Our award-winning park offers friendly, personalised service, powered and unpowered sites and a range of cabins to cater for all budgets, as well as extensive facilities for our guests to enjoy.
Our powered sites are shady, grassed and have the option of drive-through. Our cabins include Ozshacks through to Deluxe Ensuites so there’s an option for every traveller, including the pets.
Our park has a spacious undercover BBQ area and modern camp kitchen with tables and chairs, ideal for alfresco dining at the end of the day. The swimming pool is an ideal spot to cool off in the crystal clear water, or to lie on a sun lounge and read a book. We also provide a laundry, accessible facilities and a kiosk.
Take a short stroll through the park and you will come to the majestic River Murray. Spend time fishing, partaking in water sports on the river or simply admiring the beautiful bird life that abounds this wonderfully scenic and peaceful part of the river.
For the canoeing enthusiast, the popular Chamber's and Nockburra Creeks are easily accessible from the park and offer excellent wildlife and birdlife. We offer canoe hire and a private jetty, as well as a boat ramp nearby.

Things To Do
Kingston-on-Murray is tucked away next to the Murray in the heart of the Riverland. Make the most of the spectacular river by canoeing, fishing, kayaking and swimming in the refreshing water.
Banrock Station Wine and Wetland Centre is an impressive project by one of Australia's wine companies to balance agricultural use and nature conservation. There's an eight-kilometre boardwalk trail through the wetlands and an impressive interpretive and wine-tasting centre that also serves light meals. It overlooks the vineyards and panoramic wetlands and is the perfect place to relax and enjoy lunch from the outstanding regional produce menu.
Embark on one of four scenic self guided walking trails around restored wetlands and bird hides where you can view abundant wildlife. We offer a shuttle bus to and from the station for guests wanting to have a drink or two. No doubt want to stay a while longer so that you can explore all we have to offer.
