I Shall Return!

28 Feb, 2025

As the Assistant Rally Master of the North Queensland Caravan Club we thank April, Hank and their staff for the incredible hospitality and assistance they gave our club on our recent Rally to the park. The park is looking great and all the amenities were spotless. The park puts on a free sausage sizzle for everyone in the park every Friday night. Great bar area with very reasonably priced drinks. Great spot to watch the footy on the big screen.

On a personal note, I highly recommend this park to travellers and it is also a great spot to set up as it is the gateway to the Whitsundays. In those famous words “I shall return”.

We really loved this site. We booked to be close to Airlie because we had a cruise booked to the Whitsundays. The trip was cancelled due to industrial action so we had to arrange another trip ourselves. The staff here helped us find another company and were so helpful. As a consequence we stayed 3 nights. The grounds are lovely, we got to choose a pitch. It is a very quiet site with good facilities. The bar wasn’t open when we stayed but there is a nice pool which we enjoyed. Lots of lovely birds. Highly recommended
