Wongan Hills Caravan Park
Wongan Hills is located 180km north east of Perth and is the centre of a thriving grain, sheep and pig farming district. The region is renowned for its stunning wildflowers in Spring, with more than 1400 species of flowering plants and 24 species unique to Wongan Hills.
Wongan Hills Caravan Park has a wide range of accommodation available to suit all types of travellers and budgets. Enjoy large level powered sites, suitable for caravans and camping. We also offer shady drive through sites and a number of cement slab sites. For those campers that don’t need power, our sites are level, grassed and shady.
Our park also provides a number of onsite accommodation options, including self-contained One Bedroom Chalets that sleep two people; a variety of cabins that can sleep 1-4 people and have the option of being self-contained, ensuite or with shared facilities; and even a group lodge that features 8 twin bedrooms.
Our camp kitchen is fully equipped for you to cook up a storm, or else you might prefer to cook on one of our barbecues. We also offer a seating area for you to sit back, relax and watch TV. Our ablution blocks are clean and well maintained, and we provide coin operated washing machines and dryers, as well as clothes line. A dump point is located at the Wongan Hills Tourism Centre.
Your furry friends are welcome on caravan and campsites, however they must be on a lead at all times.
Our park is only a short walk to the town centre where you will find the Wongan Hills Tourism Centre, supermarket, banks, pharmacy, newsagents as well as the local pub. We are also located opposite one of Wongan Hills’ main attractions, The Christmas Rock Trail.

Things To Do
The region surrounding Wongan Hills is renowned for its wildflowers in Spring (September to December), and the Gathercole and Reynoldsons Reserves in particular offer a wonderful array of wildflowers.
The Christmas Rock Trail is a scenic nature trail through the bushland and wildflowers just outside of Wongan Hills. Enjoy a leisurely 40 minute walk to the rock wall that is used to divert water down to the town dam, and you might spot kangaroos, birds and other native wildlife. Pack a picnic and capture the beautiful scenery with the many photo opportunities available. If you enjoy bushwalking, make sure you also visit the Mount Matilda Walk Trail, a short drive from town.
Ten minutes drive from Wongan Hills is Mount O’Brien, known for its magnificent panoramic views from its peak. Take the opportunity to use the barbecue facilities on offer, or enjoy a picnic while gazing at the uninterrupted view.
Browse the local Pioneer Museum, located in the old hospital. It has an interesting display of early farm implements, photographs of the Cadoux earthquake, lots of memorabilia dating from the early days of settlement in the area, as well as a re-created blacksmith's forge.
Peruse the stalls at the Rotary Market, held on the first Saturday of every month, excluding January and February. There is plenty more to do in the region, so make the Wongan Hills Tourism Centre your first stop so you can get information on all the local attractions.
