Toodyay Holiday Park and Chalets
Just like a National Park with modern facilities
Toodyay sits beside the Avon River and is only 85km north-east of Perth. Escape to Toodyay Holiday Park & Chalets set in 25 acres of natural bushland. This is bush camping at its best, where at different times of the year the wildlife and wildflowers are in abundance.
In the winter you can sit around the campfire and gaze up at the stars whilst staying on a large powered or unpowered site or cosy up in a chalet with a log fire. Our park has mostly open plan drive-through sites and all sites are easily accessible and shady.
We have modern amenities, including a refurbished ablution block, camp kitchen, free gas bbq’s, and a kiosk for your convenience. Bushwalking and Golf is available just across the road, or else enjoy our tranquil billabong with resident ducks and birds, emus and Henry the peacock.
Things to do
Toodyay is a historic town established in the mid 1800s. There are over 100 places of historical significance in and around Toodyay for you to explore, including the Old Goal (now a museum), Connors Mill, Toodyay Public Library, the old Toodyay Post Office and the old Toodyay Fire Station.
The area boasts an abundance of wineries, lavender farms, olive groves, local produce such as honey, and artisanal creations. Emu and Alpaca farms also feature in the area, perfect for stocking up gorgeous Alpaca yarn or felt.
Take a stroll along the Avon River or hit a few balls on the local golf course. Discover the Avon Valley National Park and Pioneer’s Arboretum, as well as local parks, and reserves to enjoy the outdoors.
Toodyay hosts a variety of wonderful festivals every year, including the Moondyne Festival in May, Avon Descent Family Fun Days and Toodyay International Food Festival in August, Toodyay Picnic Race Day in September, and the Toodyay Agricultural Show in October, just to name a few.
