Things To Do

Red Cliffs and the surrounding region is a foodies delight. Visit the local farmer’s markets, pick up delicious local produce, visit wineries, drop into Varapodio Estate to sample their beautiful olive oils, or eat out at one of the many wonderful restaurants and cafes. Take a day trip to Mungo National Park, or drive to Wentworth to see the Murray-Darling Junction, and call into the Woodsie Gem Shop on the way back.

Discover the Chaffey Trail to learn about the fascinating history of Mildura. And if you’re feeling adventurous, get a birds eye view of our beautiful region in a Hot Air Balloon, or experience the wonderful river with a guided kayak adventure or Paddle Boat Cruise.

If you feel like keeping it local, visit Big Lizzie, a 45-ton tractor and 2 wagons, which were moved to Red Cliffs in 1920 to commence the extremely slow work of clearing the dense and vast Mallee scrub. You can also visit the Historical Steam Railway and the Red Cliffs Military Museum, as well as the Red Cliffs Country Markets on the 1st Sunday of each month.
