Millaa Millaa Tourist Park
Top of the Palmerston Highway
Located in one of the most spectacular regions in Northern Queensland, Millaa Millaa Tourist Park provides highland, rainforest accommodation, amidst cool, clean mountain air and an abundance of friendly animals. We are in a wonderful tropical climate, close to the coast and international airports. Only 60 km from Innisfail, or 100 km from Cairns, Millaa Millaa is at the southern entrance to the Atherton and Evelyn Tablelands.
Millaa Millaa Tourist Park is situated on 7 acres of rainforest gardens with lush grassed surrounds. Make yourself at home on one of our powered or unpowered sites, or choose from a variety of cabins or our self-contained retreat. Cook up a storm in our camp kitchen, and catch up on your washing in our laundry. Or cool down in the swimming pool, while surrounding yourself with tropical highland rainforest, tree kangaroos, platypus, brightly coloured birds and butterflies. We believe in offering visitors a happy, friendly service ensuring an enjoyable relaxing stay.

Things To Do
There are many stunning rainforest walks to do in the area, such as in the Palmerston section of Wooroonooran National Park where you can experience the beautiful lowland rainforest, wild rivers, the North Johnston River gorge and waterfalls. Experience the wildlife by spotting the tiny musky rat-kangaroo, double-eyed fig-parrot and chowchilla. The Mamu Rainforest Canopy Walk offers spectacular views across the North Johnston River Valley and the rare opportunity to walk through the treetops and observe the numerous birds, fruits and flowers in the rainforest canopy
Visit the Millaa Millaa Lookout, and enjoy the marvelous panoramic view of the Tablelands, and of Queensland's two highest mountains, Bartle Frere and Bellenden Ker. To tantalise your tastebuds, stop in at the Mungalli Creek Bio-Dynamic Dairy for free cheese and yoghurt tastings, and enjoy lunch, cake or coffee with magnificent views of Mt Bartle Frere.
The Atherton Tablelands is famous for its picturesque waterfalls. Just south of the Millaa Millaa Township, the waterfall circuit begins and encompasses Millaa Millaa Falls, Zillie and Elinjaa Falls. Continue on to discover the Pepina Falls, Munaglli Falls, Tcaupala and Nandroya Falls. Practise your swing at the Millaa Millaa 9 hole golf course, one of the most beautiful in Queensland.
