If you prefer birds to reptiles, the Flying High Bird Sanctuary is the largest free flight aviary in Australia. Walk with the birds in the free flight aviary. Covering an area of 5,000 square meters and reaching a height of seven meters, the many varieties of Australian parrots and finches fly free in a natural habitat created especially for them.

Approximately 25 minutes from Lake Redbrook is Woodgate Beach, offering a stunning curve of white sand over 16 km long. The calm ocean waters are protected from strong swells by Fraser Island. Less than 30 minute drive to Bundaberg and Rum Distillery, Bundaberg Brewed Drinks, Hinkler House and the Botanic Gardens.
