Crows Nest Tourist Park and The Park Restaurant & Cafe
Crows Nest is situated on the ridges of the Great Dividing Range, an easy 25 minute drive along the New England Highway. Set on over 7 acres of rolling lawns and gardens, the entrance to the park is flanked by seasonal flower gardens, shrubs and trees.
There are plenty of powered sites; drive through, en suite and unlimited unpowered sites, as well as self contained sites. We also offer a range of cabins to suit a variety of tastes and budgets. Cool down in the swimming pool, or say hello to the several species of birds in the aviary. We have a dump point and laundry facilities for your convenience, as well as a mini kiosk and gas refills.
Our camp kitchen has a huge undercover seating area suitable for camp gatherings, and comes complete with a fridge, stove, oven, TV and microwave. There are four free gas barbeques as well as two free wood barbeques, and a fire pit for you to enjoy on those cooler nights. Or if you don't feel like cooking, enjoy a delicious buffet at our very own cafe restaurant on Friday nights (bookings essential), a la carte on Saturday nights, or scrumptious breakfast and lunch 7 days a week.

Things To Do
Crows Nest is thought to have been names after Jimmy Crow, an aboriginal man whose statue adorns Centenary Park in the centre of town. The streets are filled with striking old buildings that house antique shops, cafes, galleries and a museum.
Within an easy walk of the town centre, you'll find Salts Antiques, Carbethon Folk Museum, the Regional Art Gallery and a community arts and crafts centre. Enjoy a pleasant stroll along the creek between Bullocky's Rest and Warmann Park, known as the Applegum Walk.
Pack a picnic to enjoy in nearby Crows Nest National Park where you'll find bird watching and bushwalking trails through the eucalypt forest. After rains you'll see Crows Nest Falls in action. You may even spot a brush-tailed rock wallaby perched on the high granite boulders.
For a choice of self-guided drives, collect a brochure from the Hampton Visit Centre. The Crows Nest Show is a significant regional event held annually in May, featuring wood chopping, fine arts, farm produce, nightly entertainment, a Ball, and plenty more.
