DESCRIPTION:Standown Park | Maaroom Caravan Park | Barambah Bush Caravan and Camping Park\n\n\n\n\n\nAppearing is the first institutional survey of Brisbane‑based artist Tyza Hart\, bringing together key bodies of work from the past decade. \n\n\n\nSpanning early self‑portraits\, immersive installations and abstract ceramic sculptures\, the exhibition traces Hart’s evolving exploration of self‑representation and embodied experience. \n\n\n\nEmbracing figuration and abstraction\, the works consider identity as fluid\, contextual and formed through interaction\, inviting poetic and ambiguous ways of relating to the body in the world. \n\n\n\nTyza’s formative years were spent in Gympie and they continue to remain connected to the region through family. \n\n\n\nThe exhibition will feature artworks on loan from significant institutions\, including Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art and University of Queensland\, as well as the Gympie Regional Gallery’s own collection. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSTAY AT MAAROOM CARAVAN PARK\n\n\n\n\n\nSTAY AT BARAMBAH BUSH CARAVAN AND CAMPING PARK\n\n\n\n\n\nVIEW EVENT
