DESCRIPTION:Standown Park | Maaroom Caravan Park | Barambah Bush Caravan and Camping Park\n\n\n\n\n\nAppearing is the first institutional survey of Brisbane‑based artist Tyza Hart\, bringing together key bodies of work from the past decade. \n\n\n\nSpanning early self‑portraits\, immersive installations and abstract ceramic sculptures\, the exhibition traces Hart’s evolving exploration of self‑representation and embodied experience. \n\n\n\nEmbracing figuration and abstraction\, the works consider identity as fluid\, contextual and formed through interaction\, inviting poetic and ambiguous ways of relating to the body in the world. \n\n\n\nTyza’s formative years were spent in Gympie and they continue to remain connected to the region through family. \n\n\n\nThe exhibition will feature artworks on loan from significant institutions\, including Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art and University of Queensland\, as well as the Gympie Regional Gallery’s own collection. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSTAY AT MAAROOM CARAVAN PARK\n\n\n\n\n\nSTAY AT BARAMBAH BUSH CARAVAN AND CAMPING PARK\n\n\n\n\n\nVIEW EVENT

DESCRIPTION:Creswick Holiday Park\n\n\n\n\n\nCresFest is about the joy of live music – playing it\, hearing it\, watching it\, dancing to it\, learning it and being inspired by it. In 2026\, it happens the middle weekend of the school holidays in April. \n\n\n\nIt takes over a small Victorian town: Creswick\, just 15 minutes from Ballarat and 20 minutes from Daylesford. In its fifth year CresFest will again offer high quality music in intimate heritage venues\, with international\, national and local artists appearing. \n\n\n\nMore than concerts\, there will be opportunities to participate through a packed program of workshops including singing\, dancing and playing\, learning new skills and taking part in the majestic New Orleans Second Line\, led by up to 100 brass players and 100 school children from the town. \n\n\n\nAt CresFest\, there’s truly something for everyone: budding performers can enter the IGA Busking Competition and sign up for open mic spots\, while local players are invited to learn from and perform with visiting professionals; ticket holders and volunteers can join the Festival Choir. Kids have their very own zone for entertainment and workshops. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nVIEW EVENT
